İkinci Söz, imanın insana daha bu dünyada bir mutluluk kazandırdığını anlatır. İki adam aynı memlekete yolculuk eder: Biri her şeyi korkunç ve sahipsiz görür; diğeri memleketin sahibini tanıdığı için her yeri bir şenlik, ölümü bile bir terhis olarak görür.
The Second Word explains that faith brings happiness even in this world. Two men travel to the same land: one sees everything as frightening and ownerless; the other knows the Owner of the land, so he sees everywhere as a festival and even death as a discharge from duty.
